  • A repeat prescription is any medicine or item listed on your printed reorder slip (attached to your prescription).
  • A “special request” is a medicine which is not printed on your reorder slip e.g. the patient has written the medicine onto the slip.  A “special request” can take longer than 2 working days to process as the GP has to check whether it is appropriate to continue with this medicine.
  • To ensure you do not run out of your regular medication please reorder when you a minimum of 7 days worth of medicines left.
